Goodbye!

Okay. We are leaving early tomorrow morning to drive to Texas to visit family and friends. On Sunday, my dad and I are going to drive to Dallas, TX to meet up with a missions team from our church, fly to McAllen, TX, then drive over the border into Mexico. We will be down there for a week building the second story of a small church out of concrete. After that we will drive back over the border, fly to Dallas, say goodbye to our friends, and drive back to my grandparents house. Two days later, we will drive from there to West Palm Beach, Florida!(The drive will take two days!) We will be there for two and a half weeks! Then over the next three days, we will drive home, just three days before the school semester starts at Johnson County Community College for a grand total of five weeks of vacation. So yeah. That is my crazy summer.

I will miss you all so much! I might be able to post pictures while I'm gone because we are bringing my dad's computer... But no promises. =D

So, God bless you all while I'm gone!

Love you, guys!

Happy 4th of July!

God has been so good to our country. Even when we have turned from Him, he continues to make this country prosperous. And we (I) need to remember, that even in the hard times, even when we have a president that we don't like (okay, really don't like), He is always there and He always will be. God has been faithful to reveal Himself to us. He is a wonderful, all-powerful, awesome, and amazing God.

Here are the Branson pics. It was SOOO hot that the asphalt was melting. We were able to make shoe prints on the ground. We were very grateful for the air conditioned places.

There was a cool blacksmith. He was making a big knife.

A statue of 'The Lion and The Lamb' outside the Sight and Sound Theater

We went and saw 'Noah the Musical' at the Sight and Sound Theater

It was really hard to get a good picture of my Pop. :)

We saw a show in 'Echo Hollow'

Yeah... No comment. :)

A little something before pictures.

Well I don't have the pictures from my camera uploaded yet, so obviously I can't post on our vacation. But, I can post about an incident that happened this afternoon.

I have just recently started pool therapy for my knee. Today was my second appointment. Well, my physical therapist worked me out hard so my mom and I decided to get into the hot tub to loosen my muscles and just give overall relaxation. We were in there no more than five minutes. My mom got out of the hot tub and said she was a little dizzy. But she took some deep breaths and was fine. I took two steps out of the hot tub and I realized that I too was really dizzy. The next thing I knew, I was sinking to the bottom of the hot tub and my mom was in there with me. She had both of my hands in hers and she was trying to pull me out of the water. I sat up and my mom and I got out of the Jacuzzi and I sat down on a chair.
Apparently, I fainted. I remember telling my mom that I was dizzy, but after that I don't remember anything but waking up in the water. Mom said that she told me to take deep breaths, but by that time I was glazed and not listening. She said that I was just looking off into the distance and slowly started to fall backwards into the water. Mom had grabbed my hands to try to keep me above the water, but in so doing, she fell in as well. Once I found out that I had fainted, I just started laughing. To me, it was very comical. All that I remember was thinking while I was in the water was 'Why is Mom screaming' and 'That's really funny that I lost my footing and slipped into the water. Wow. I'm really clumsy'. No one heard Mom scream because the jets in the hot tub were so loud and everyone in the pool was making a lot of noise.

But, I'm fine. I never got nauseated and I just had a little bit of a headache. Mom, on the other hand, didn't fare so well. She broke one of her toes when she fell in after me. So, maybe you could pray for her, for the pain, because there really isn't anything that we can do to fix it except wait for it to heal.

Thus ends my exciting day.
