My Grandpa is a lot better now. He is in the place where God's enduring promise never fails. Grandpa Glen is singing with the angels...

Great-Grandpa Glen

Hey y'all! So, for those of you who do not know already, my mom is in Seattle, Washington with my Grandma Carol, Uncle Gary, Great-Grandma Ethel, and my Great-Grandpa Glen. My Grandpa Glen is very ill and may be near to meeting his Savior. Grandpa is 92 and was very healthy and fit up until about a year ago. He stopped hiking two years ago when he turned 90. It's no joke! Grandpa is a survivor of cancer several times over and he has had his eye whacked with the back of a hammer(Ouch!). He has gone through many things in his life and now he is just starting to go downhill. But, he is a firm believer in Christ, so that gives us hope and real comfort. So, if you could be praying for my family and I as we go through this difficult time, I would really appreciate it. Soon, my grandpa will be in a place where His enduring promise is ever-present... No tears...

Prayer Request

Hey all! As most of you know, our dear friend Catherine, has been diagnosed with juvenile diabetes. I wish there were more that I could do for her, but the thing that will bless them the most is for us to lift her up in prayer. Catherine is a wonderful young woman, and has made such an impact on my life. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that we are all so very grateful to God for her. I just pray that God will be with her in this hard time. And I know that He will be. He knew that this was going to happen even before the beginning of time. She is fearfully and wonderfully made. Even though it is hard to imagine, He loves her a million times more than we do. Nothing can happen to her outside God's power. I believe that He will draw her even closer to himself through these difficult times.

New Years Eve Night Fun!

Sorry All! I know this is a bit late, but here it is! We went to a friend's house for New Years Eve, and had a wonderful time. Here are some pictures I got...

Alicia

Robert

Alyssa and Emily

Nathan and Joseph playing a game with the younger children...

There were plenty of wrestling matches...

Me watching Emily play...

Twister! There were a few interesting games of this, too!

Emily got a horn in their Care group's Grab-Bag Game.

Nathan trying to blow Emily's horn...

The men trying to gain control over the world in an intense game of Risk.

I thought this was a good picture of Mr. and Mrs. Q.

And to welcome in the New Year, we had a wonderful worship time. Soon, 2007 will only be a distant memory. But, as I look back on last year, I see God's faithfulness, and kindness, and love for me and the people around me. We had a wonderful time. In all the things that happened this past year, there will be times that I will forget, but it is these things, comeing together, worshiping the Lord with all the people that I love, those are the things that I will never forget.
